Það er tæpt ár síðan ég fyrst las um Ellis Húsið og í gær sá ég mynd úr stofunni á Pinterest sem leiddi mig aftur að bloggi um þetta fallega hús. Fannst það jafn skemmtilegt og fyrir tæpu ári og skelli því þess vegna beint á síðuna mína. Eigendur eru Tracie og David Ellis en Tracie hannar og selur fallegt lín undir heitinu Aura Home. Ellis húsið er í Kyneton, um það bil klukkutíma akstur frá Melbourne í Ástralíu. Húsið var endurgert með uppruna þess í huga og fengu þau innanhússhönnuð til að veita litaráðgjöf. Grátóna litapallettan heldur vel utan um blönduna af nýjum og gömlum húsgögnum. Hægt er að leigja húsið og þar sem heimsókn til Ástralíu er á  „bucket“ listanum þá er aldrei að vita hvort ég eigi eftir að sofa í einu af þessum gullfallegu svefnherbergjum.

I first read about the Ellis House about 8 months ago and yesterday I saw a photo from the living room on Pinterest which led me to another blog about the house. Liked it just as much now so I decided to share it on my page. The owners are Tracie and Davis Ellis. Tracie is the designer behind the linen brand Aura Home. The Ellis House is located in Kyneton, about an hour drive from Melbourne in Australia. The house was renewed with respect to its origin and the couple got color advice from an interior designer. The grey color palette goes well with the mix of old and new furniture. The house can be rented and since a visit to Australia is on my bucket list, I might just spend a night in one of these beautiful bedrooms.
