Já, já, ég veit. Það eru nokkrar vikur síðan ég sýndi mynd í „dálkinum“ mynd vikunnar. Ég vil nefnilega sýna innanhússmynd sem heillar, fræðir eða kveikir á hugmyndum. Það þýðir að ég birti mynd vikunnar þegar ég finn þá réttu en ekki vegna byrði vikulegrar birtingar.

Yes, I know. A few weeks have gone by since my last entry in the „column“ photo of the week. I just want to show a photo that fascinates, educates or inspires new ideas. That means I’ll post a photo when I find the right one instead of having the burden of weekly entries forcing my finds.

Hvað er svo að sjá hér?  / So what do we see here?  

Einfaldleiki með hreinum línum. Hráa, steypta óklædda loftið. Línur og skil milli lita og efna er aðalatriði og því er gardínustöngin ekki tekin alla leið til lofts en auðvitað milli veggja, eins og til að endurtaka formið. Þetta er mínimalismi.

 A purity with clean lines. The raw concrete ceiling. Lines and clear distinction between colors and materials is the main focus within this space and therefore is the curtain rod not pushed all the way up to the ceiling but of course between the walls, as to repeat the overall form. This is minimalism.
