Franski innanhússarkitektinn Sarah Lavoine sýnir hér eigin íbúð.  Hún notar svarta og hvíta liti sem grunnliti en grábláan sem áherslulit. Svo að heildin komi ekki út eins og teiknimynd blandar hún viðarhúsgögnum inn og velur grábrún efni í bólstrun á borðstofubekk og sófa í stofu sem gerir íbúðina hlýlega.  Hér sést vel hve mikilvægt er að finna rétt hlutföll í litavali veggja og húsgagna. Iðnaðarútlit glerveggsins milli borðstofu og eldhúss passar vel þarna inn en hér má sjá umfjöllun mína um einmitt þessa gerð glerveggja.

The French interior designer Sarah Lavoine shows her own apartment. She uses black and white as foundation colors but a vintage blue as an accent color. So the overall scheme does not end up looking like a comic strip she mixes in wooden furniture and greybrown upholstery on the bench in the dining area and on the sofa in the living room that introduces warmth into the space. This place shows us how important balance is when picking colors for walls and furniture. The industrial look of the glass wall between the kitchen and the dining area fits perfectly in with her style but here you can read a post I wrote about metal casing glass walls.
