Arkitektinn Can Savran á stofunni Grön Form Arkitektur & Miljö teiknaði þetta hús í anda gamalla timburhúsa á Jamtalands svæðinu þar sem þetta 92 m2 hús var reist, nýtt hús en í gamla stílnum og innanhúss hefur stílhreinum línum verið blandað saman við gróft og mjúkt timbur í veggjum.Eigendur fengu aðstoð hönnuða við litaval, innréttingahönnun og flest húsgagnakaup en þau voru keypt í dýrum hönnunarbúðum, ódýrum stórverslunum og á marköðum sem selja gömul notuð húsgögn. Hér er því að finna skemmtilega blöndu af gömlu og nýju, dýru og ódýru – mína uppáhalds blöndu. Jólaskreytingar eru látlausar en rauði liturinn í þeim myndar sterka andstæðu við að öðru leyti mjúka liti innandyra. Ó,svo fallegt.
It was the architect Can Savran in the firm Grön Form Arkitektur & Miljö that designed the house influenced by old timber cabins from the Jämtland area where this 92 square meter house was built. A new house but in an old style and the interior is a mix of straight modern lines with soft and rustic timber walls. The owners got assistant from designers to pick the colors, interiors and most of the furniture but the furniture pieces come from expensive designer shops, inexpensive larger retail store and markets selling old,used items. This is therefore a mix of old and new, expensive and inexpensive – my favorite mix. The Christmas decorations are plain but the red color brings a strong contrast to the soft color palette used in the house. Oh, so pretty.
