Það kemur ekki á óvart að þetta hús í New York sé nefnt Hús minninga. Eigandinn fékk hóp úr félaginu SITE (Sculpture in the Environment) til að endurgera húsið að innan en SITE er félag listamanna og arkítekta sem vinna að umhverfis-, sjón- og höggmyndalist. Hugmyndin var að gera veggi lifandi, að flæðandi skúlptúrum, sem þó hafa hlutverk eða gera gagn eins og nytjahlutir á heimilinu. Húsgögn og húsmunir birtast hálfir út úr veggjum og skapa draugalega mynd, eins og gamlar minningar hússins hlutgerist.
It‘s no surprise that this house in New York is called the House of Memories. The owner got a selected group from SITE (Sculpture in the Environment),a collective of artists and architects, to renovate it . The idea was to bring the walls to life, create floating sculptures that have purpose and function. Furniture and household items appear half out of walls and create a ghostly image, like old memories of the house itself become visible.
