Vöruhönnuðurinn Þórunn Árnadóttir fékk hönnunarverðlaun Grapevine fyrir vöru ársins, PyroPet. Pyropet er vörulína af kertum í líki dýra og þegar kveikt er á þeim þá bráðnar vaxið og í ljós koma skemmtilega óhugnalegar beinagrindur úr málmi. Fyrsta og að ég tel eina kertið sem þegar er komið á markað er Kisa.  Sumir eru sjálfsagt ósammála lýsingu minni „skemmtilega óhugnalegar“ en mér þykir þessi hönnun frumleg,töff og fyndin.

The product designer Þórunn Árnadóttir just received the Grapevine design award for product of the year, PyroPet. PyroPet is a product line of candles in the form of animals and when you light them the wax melts and an amazingly creepy  metallic skeleton becomes visible. The first and I believe the only candle on the market yet is Kisa (an Icelandic word for cat or kitty ). Some may disagree with my adjective  „amazingly creepy“ but I think this design is so out of the box, cool and so funny.
