Grænn er litur sem við tengjum við náttúru. Liturinn getur verið skær og glaðlegur en einnig dökkur og dramatískur.
Smaragðsgrænn var valinn litur ársins 2013 af Pantone Color Institute og hefur hann því verið vinsæll í fylgihlutum jafnt sem húsbúnaði. En sá græni kemur í ýmsum tónum sbr. eplagrænum, mosagrænum, neongrænum og ólivugrænum.
Green is a color we connect to nature. It can be bright and cheerful but also dark and dramatic. Emerald green was chosen as the color of the year 2013 by Pantone Color Institute and we have seen its popularity in fashion accessories as well as household items. But the color green comes in many shades as apple green, moss, neon and olive to name a few.

The green color has not been a popular choice in interior design here in Iceland but as the photos show it can be a fun color to use. The atmosphere of the room should be decided before choosing your green color, go for a bright green if you want it to pop but a dark green if you want class and drama.
