Það er eitthvað ferskt við svört blöndunartæki. Þau skapa sterka andstæðu við annað og þannig skera þau sig úr og vekja athygli. Það er vinsælt að nota svörtu tækin við hvít gráan marmara enda andstæðan mikil og útkoman því einstaklega falleg.
There is something fresh in using black faucets. They create a strong contrast, stand out and get your attention. It is popular to use them with white-grey marble where the contrast is extra strong and the outcome therefore beautiful.
En hvar fáum við svört blöndunartæki og hversu góð eru þau með kísilblönduðu vatninu okkar? Hjá versluninni Tengi fást lituð tæki, þ.á.m. svört frá Vola og Dornbracht. Hjá Ísleifi Jónssyni fást svört tæki frá Nobili. Nokkur svört tæki hafa verið seld og reynst vel en þó verður að hafa í huga að kísillinn sést betur á svörtum en til dæmis krómuðum fleti og því þarf að strjúka af þeim oftar.
But where, in Iceland, can we buy them and how practical are they with the Icelandic silica infused water? At Tengi they have products from Vola and Dornbracht and Ísleifur Jónsson offers them from Nobili. Black faucets have proven to show the silica more so they need more cleaning then f.i. chrome faucets.
Tækin kosta meira en krómið en álíka og ryðfrí tæki. Ég er mjög spennt fyrir þessari nýjung og tel að við eigum eftir að sjá meira af lituðum blöndunartækjum. Hér er mynd af hvítu tæki sem er líka svakalega flott.
The colored faucets are a bit more expensive then the regular chrome ones. I can not argue against the beauty of a well designed black faucet so I am very excited about this trend. I predict that we will see more of colored faucets and here is a white one that is also gorgeous.
